Let's see here. I like the art style in contrast to the original. The thinner stokes add a stronger sense of clarity and definition. The facial expression is very believable. The subtlety of the mouth position and the shape of the eye do a great job of suggesting frustration but not anger. Also, having the ear sagging downward increases the overall sense of defeat and despair. The color matches the character perfectly. The hair and tail are good. I like the way the face was drawn. It is a little longer than the face seen on TV. It adds a touch of uniqueness. I don't know if your were doing this on purpose, but it [the character] reminds me of a frustrated dog who isn't having his day. Well done.
