This is an epic piece of work. I hate seeing Applejack unhappy, but she looks so determined and fierce so I'll assume she's not sad so much as angry. There is amazing detail: the subtle tear in her eye, the shading of her pelt, her dirty hooves, and her flying mane and tail. The background could do with some work, the style is really simplistic (especially the clouds).
All you have to do is look at Applejack's eyes and her posture. You can almost see her running towards you, and I think that's what really draws people in.

Very awesome.

I really love the energy and movement in this picture. Awesome job!
My only critique would probably be the ear, I have the feeling that it is a little bit too big/long.
I could be wrong though.
